Biography of Bassam Koussa

Bassam Koussa was born in Aleppo, Syria, and graduate from the Fine Arts Institute where he was involved in acting and theatre. He has appeared in numerous theatrical productions throughout Syria.  He later appeared in the films "Something Burning", "Al Compbarse".  In television he appeared in numerous series which elevated him as the top character actor in Syria.  His reputation spread to the rest of the Arab world with his work in television and film.  He has received many awards for his acting at film festivials . Basam is known as the actor with a million faces because of the scope and depth of his acting skills.  He has been unanomiously selected to recieve the 2008 Al-Ataa Award for his life achievement.
