Biography of Nadin Khoury

Nadin was born in Damascus, Syria to an  artistic family in 1959.  Her older brother, George, a well known Film and Television Director of Photography introduced her to acting as a young girl. She was instantly recognized as an inspiring anjenue and she debuted as the lead actress in her first film, "Habibaty Ya Hab Al Tout". After working in other films she made her television debut with Director and Actor Salim Sabri.  She is now considered one of Syria's most important and versatile television and film actress. In a recent interview she said that she likes to be challenged in the roles she performs, usually choosing villanese  because they  gives her a wider range in developing her skills and showing her acting talents.  Among the many awards she has received for her acting, she was selected to receive the 2008 Al-Atta Award presented in Los Angeles, California on May 3rd.
